1998年6月5日至8日,《人民文学》理事会第一次会议在北戴河召开。会议本着弘扬民族文化、振兴民族经济的宗旨,就目前条件下的工业企业与文学期刊的联姻问题进行了认真而深入的讨论;尤其对文学事业怎样走入市场,企业文化怎样开展等进行了专题式的交流。与会代表畅所欲言并达成共识。此次会议受到了中国作家协会党组、书记处的高度重视,书记处书记陈建功专程赴会,并作了热情洋溢且切合实际的讲话,博得了代表们许多笑声与掌声。本刊主编程树榛在致辞中说:“我们想通过理事会进一步和社会生活保持最紧密的联系,体察时代前进
