Downhole imaging technology is currently a relatively advanced ultrasonic technology used in the petroleum industry, which can objectively evaluate the downhole reservoirs and casing conditions. The measured results are accurate and reliable after being processed by the computer and are helpful to petroleum engineering experts in making effective construction decisions. In recent years, the technology has been developed rapidly in China, the application effect is good, this article describes its application.
