综述了美国清洁空气法修正案(CAAA)的实施与醚类作为汽油组份的应用迅速发展的关系,介绍了甲基叔丁基醚的供需状况,据预测至2000年全世界MTBE的生产能力将达到3500×104t/a。由于醚类特别是MTBE的需要量猛增,同时也带动了原料异丁烯/异戊烯的生产技术及醚化反应技术的不断进步。介绍了我国在这方面的技术开发以及今后在醚类方向的发展及应用情况。
