不久前,中国现代文学馆馆长舒乙在“臧克家文学创作生涯65年展览”开幕式上,盛赞臧克家先生的诗和他的人。舒乙先生深刻指出“臧克家的诗好”,好在: ——破命死追,他发誓哪怕由一首短诗里,也要有从一粒砂中可以看出世界的力量,流注出的是一串串平常人一万年也想不出的妙句。为写诗,他捻断了无数根精神的髭,以至好多句都是他自己第二次再也写不出来的。他写诗,是用整个生命作抵押。

To write poetry, he twisted the mustache of innumerable spirits, and so many sentences were never written by himself for the second time. He wrote poetry, is the use of whole life as collateral.
