The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ) issued a message a few days ago. Starting from September 1 this year, 15 categories including toys, baby carriages and child safety seats will be able to export without statutory inspection and quarantine. This means that export toy companies or their consignors and agents do not need to hold the “Exit Customs Clearance” issued by the inspection and quarantine department to bid for the export formalities. According to industry insiders, this is good for related production companies such as toys, baby carriages and child safety seats in China, and will stimulate the increase in output; the other part will be cautious.
