虽然新建的廉租房窗明几净、户型合理,但广州不少特困户还是放弃租住。究其原因,主要是目前不少廉租房远离市区,各项生活配套设施不全,贫困租户除了交纳不低的租金和物业管理费,还要支出数额不小的交通费用,无奈之下只得放弃入住新社区。建立廉租房制度本来是政府关注民生、扶助弱势群体的好举措,可是在实施中却遇到了特困户们不“领情”的问题,这着实令一片热心的政府颇为尴尬,也由此暴露了我们在廉租房建设方面存在的问题——廉租户们放弃入住,根子在于廉租房的选址出了
