如今,提起100岁高龄的杨绛,人们总会说她是钱钟书夫人。而1947年《围城》刚出版的时候,当人们打听作者钱钟书是谁时,回答则是杨绛的丈夫。早在《围城》问世4年前,杨绛编剧的《称心如意》《弄真成假》等作品就已被搬上舞台,反响热烈;她的小说、散文在国内外得到极高的评价;她翻译的《堂吉诃德》等作品已经成为经典。可以说,杨绛完全有资格和包括钱钟书在内的众多大家巨儒比肩而立。
Today, when you bring up a 100-year-old Yang Jiang, people always say that she is Madame Qian Zhongshu.
