现为中国书协顾问的钟明善先生是一位严谨的书法学者。在上世纪“文化大革命”严酷的环境中,他依然能够潜心治学,搜寻资料,耗时七年,完成了新中国成立后筘一本现代汉语版的《中国书法简史》。他创办了影响全国的长安书法函授学校,几年间学员达到四万多人次;他参与筹建了陕西省书法家协会和终南印社,创建了西安交通大学文化艺术系、中国书法系,并建立了从本科到博士的书法人才培养体系;他主编的三十六卷本《于右任书法全集》堪称目前全国规模最大的个人艺术作品集之一。除此之外,他还撰写了《谈艺录》、《意象艺术散论》、《艺林絮语》、《于右任书法艺术管窥》、《书法鉴赏》、《三秦书法胜迹》等十余部二百余万字的专著,并创作了大量的书法、篆刻、绘画作品。鉴于此,本刊“大家风采”特推出钟明善。
Zhong Ming Shan, now a consultant for the Chinese Callisthenics, is a serious scholar of calligraphy. In the harsh environment of the “Cultural Revolution” in the last century, he was still able to devote himself to studying and searching for information, took seven years and completed the “Brief History of Chinese Calligraphy” after rebuilding a modern Chinese version after the founding of New China. He founded the Chang’an Calligraphy Correspondence School which has influenced the whole country. In a few years, the number of trainees reached more than 40,000. He participated in the preparation of Shaanxi Calligraphers Association and Zhongnan Printing Company, and founded the Department of Arts and Crafts of Xi’an Jiaotong University and the Department of Chinese Calligraphy From undergraduate to Ph.D. calligraphy talent training system; he edited thirty-six “The Complete Works of Ren Yu Ren calligraphy” is currently one of the largest collection of personal art. In addition, he also wrote more than ten such articles as “Tan Yi Lu”, “Discussed the Art of Image”, “Yi Lin Xu Yu”, “Yu You Ren Appreciation of Calligraphy Art”, “Calligraphy Appreciation” and “Sanqin Calligraphy Stories” Department of two hundred million words monographs, and created a lot of calligraphy, seal cutting, painting works. In view of this, the publication “everyone style ” special launch Zhongming Shan.
