康熙皇帝玄烨第二次南巡,在禹陵之祭后,于农历二月十七日由杭州回銮,始走运河水路,抵丹阳改陆行至句容,度秣陵关,于二十五日到达江宁(今南京市),驻跸府城。《康熙南巡图》第十卷,画的是从句容至江宁这一段路线的景况。这一卷全长2559.5厘米,可分为两大段,前小半段画的是句容道中农村景色,后大半段描绘江宁府城。画卷开首是句容县城门,城门内外,画家概括地画出
