过好传统节日、传承民族精神,日益引起人们的关注。本刊在2004年发起“如何过节”讨论的基础上,又与《光明日报》、中央人民广播电台合作,共同邀请有关专家学者召开座谈会,就该问题进行进一步研究探讨。农工党中央副主席陈宗兴首先讲话,他指出:农工党作为参政党,虽然参政议政以经济建设为中心,但随着社会、经济、文化的协调发展,科学发展观的提出,我们的参政议政工作也非常关注社会的、文化的问题。陈宗兴副主席说,汉秋同志一直非常关心、关注传统节日,并且大力推动传统节日建设。有两个提案:一个是希望把3月5日的“学雷锋活动日”定为“志愿者节”,一个是希望把“教师节”改在“孔子诞辰日”,这些提案得到了有关部门的高度重视,团中央、教育部给予了充分的肯定和答复。陈宗兴副主席强调,传统节日作为中华文化重要的组成部分,也是弘扬民族精神、进行爱国主义教育、提高民族凝聚力、完成新世纪三大历史任务(包括祖国统一)的重要内容之一。现有的传统节日,包括春节、端午、中秋、重阳等,都有着非常丰富的人文内涵,较为悠久的历史,并且已经深入人心。我们召开“建设传统节日,培育民族精神”座谈会,希望就这些问题进行深入的研究,各方面加强合作,形成共识,通过舆论的影响,使大家乐于接受传统节日。农工党中?
