他曾任中国化学学会理事长、中国科协副主席。1985年当选为第三世界科学院院士,并曾任第三世界科学院理事会理事等职。1987年获伦敦城市大学名誉科学博士学位,同年获比利时皇家科学院外籍院士称号。1999年获何梁何利科学与技术成就奖。他——就是曾为我们《科学启蒙》创刊题写刊名并在结构化学研究中取得杰出成就的科学家卢嘉锡(1915—2001)。那么,他是通过什么样的科学方法帮助自己取得这些成就的呢?
He was chairman of the Chinese Chemical Society, vice chairman of China Association for Science and Technology. In 1985 was elected to the Third World Academy of Sciences, and served as the Third World Academy of Sciences Council and other staff. In 1987 by City University of London honorary doctorate in science, the same year by the Royal Belgian Academy of Sciences foreign academic title. In 1999 by He Liang He Li Science and Technology Achievement Award. He - Lu Jiaxi (1915-2001), a scientist who had authored the title for Science Enlightenment and made outstanding achievements in structural chemistry research.
