统计结果表明，目前期刊利用率仅为２０％左右。介绍了青岛大学图书馆在科技期刊开发与利用上所做的一些尝试，即：订购科技期刊要体现本校特色；加强期刊基础工作的科学管理；要采用多种形式进行宣传通报、广而告之；教育工作人员爱岗敬业、钻研业务；强化情报教育、培养潜在用户；与学校教学科研密切配合；统筹文献资源共享；加强科技期刊管理的现代化建设。
The statistical results show that the current periodical utilization rate is only about 20%. This paper introduces some attempts made by Qingdao University Library in the development and utilization of sci-tech periodicals, that is, to subscribe sci-tech periodicals to reflect the characteristics of the university, to strengthen the scientific management of periodical basic work, to adopt various forms of publicity and propaganda ; Education staff love their jobs, study business; strengthen intelligence education, develop potential users; and school teaching and research closely; co-ordinate the sharing of literature resources; strengthen the management of modern science and technology periodicals.
