南宋著名词人张孝祥有《赠震山主》诗云:“震公住山年,与我共壬子。”(《于湖居士文集》卷五)用这种句法表年岁,已见于前人文集,如王宗稷《东坡先生年谱》引谱主《赠长芦长老》诗云:“与公同丙子,三万六千日。”《东坡七集》《前集》卷十四《送沈逵赴广南》诗云:“嗟我与君皆丙子,四十九年穷不死。”《后集》卷七有诗,题曰《永和清都观谢道士,童颜须发,问其年,生于丙子,盖与予同,求此诗》,均说明苏轼生于仁宗景祐三年,岁次丙子。张诗句法与苏诗同,意谓震公长老始住持震山寺之年,与己之生,同在壬子,即岁次壬子的高宗绍兴二年;与《于湖居士文集》附录《宣城张氏信谱传》所言“绍兴甲戌,廷试擢进士第一,时年二十有三”相符,知孝祥生年为绍兴二年(1132)无疑。 徐鹏先生校点之《于湖居士文集》,一九八○年由上海古籍出版社出版,此前,《宣城张氏信谱传》传播未广,而《宋史·张孝祥传》未载传主生年,故有关论著于张孝祥生年,大都存疑或有误。《信谱传》随《文集》得广传后,有关论著大都对张氏生年作了审订,但仍有一些论著未予订正,订正了的也未引用可作为内证的上述诗,故略志于此。
