为贯彻中央经济工作会议精神,省委、省政府于1994年12月24日至27日,召开了全省经济工作会议,会议确定了我省1995年经济工作的基本思路。1995年我省经济工作的主要任务是:做到两个坚定不移,达到两个目的,实现三个高于。必须坚定不移地贯彻中央经济工作会议确定的方针政策,下最大决心抑制通货膨胀;必须坚定不移地结合湖北实际,创造性地工作,下最大决心保持湖北国民经济的发展势头;努力实现投资力度高于全国平均水平,经济效益好于全国平均水平,发展速度快于全国平均水平。要在国家宏观调控的总格局中,抓住机遇,把着力点放在鼓实劲、下内功、转机制、调结构、上水平、增效益、促发展上,下大力气提高我省国民经济的整体素质和综合实力。
