文化遗产,是人类社会发展过程中形成并传世的文化资源。文化遗产包括了物质文化遗产和非物质文化遗产,其中物质文化遗产基本综合了《文物保护法》的内容。正确认识物质文化遗产的价值是科学保护和合理利用的前提。多年来,张家港市认真贯彻《中华人民共和国文物保护法》、《中华人民共和国文物保护法实施条例》、《江苏省文物保护条例》等相关法律法规的要求,不断加大对物质文化遗产的扶持力度,在物质文化遗产的保护与利用上,不断探索新的途径,提高城市文化品位和文化软实力。
