最近本报发表了北京和上海中小学校改进教学工作，提高教学质量，减轻学生负担的报道，今天又介绍了上海育才中学改进教学方法的经验。这些事例说明，改进教学方法，提高教学质量，减轻学生负担，是关系到如何贯彻教育方针的大问题，关系到培养什么样接班人的大问题。彻底解决这个问题，需要进行一系列的改革工作。而从学校和教师方面来说，就要克服片面追求升学率的错误思想，同时采取革命的态度改进教学方法。
Recently, the newspaper published reports on improving the teaching work of Beijing and Shanghai primary and secondary schools, improving the quality of teaching, and reducing the burden on students.
