辽阳市第十一中学坐落在辽阳市区东南角,1972年建校,拥有先进的语音室、微机室和局属一流的化学实验室。学校以教学为中心,通过开展示范课、研讨课、素质教育经验交流会、到先进学校考察等形式推动素质教育,创设了“教师奖励制度”,进一步完善“班级考核细则”和“教育教学考核细则”,激发了广大教职员奋发向上的工作热情,校园内外到处呈现出蒸蒸日上的好景象。学校狠抓师德建设,倡导“爱生笃教”。开展“青年教师志愿者活动”,义务为学生补课。先后涌现出许多市级优秀教师、校级优秀教师、教学能手、师德标兵和爱生模范。
