我厂从美国引进并成批生产的KYKY1000B扫描电镜的分辨本领为60埃,将该仪器使用的发叉式钨丝阴极更换为我们研制的LaB_6单晶阴极后,分辨本领由60埃提高到40埃,电子枪的亮度和阴极寿命提高一个数量级。透射电镜使用本LaB_6阴极之后,性能也有明显改善。研制成功的LaB_6单晶阴极的结构是用目前各电镜所使用的常规发叉式钨丝阴极改装而成,即在钨丝阴极支架上铆接两根不锈钢杆,通过螺钉在杆的端头将LaB_6单晶体夹持在两块热解石墨之间,螺钉通过陶瓷环与其中一根杆绝缘。LaB_6阴极的外形尺寸和加热功率与发叉式钨丝阴极近似,因此可与原有阴极互换
