东源县石英矿资源储量大、品位高,深受投资者青睐。柳城、蓝口两镇石英石矿储量约3亿吨,硅含量在95%以上,是亚洲最优质的石英石矿资源之一。近年来,我县坚持科学发展观,继续解放思想,立足保增长、促需求、优结构、增后劲,依托资源优势,按照“政府主导、市场运作、科学有序、互利共赢”的总体思路,科学规划石英石矿资源开发,积极推进产业集聚,取得初步成效。
