纽约古根海姆在去年11月份为意大利艺术家莫瑞吉奥卡特兰举办的个人回顾展“全部”再一次把这个艺术界的弄潮儿推到了聚光灯下。卡特兰在展览前昔公开宣布这次个人回顾展将是他艺术创作的终点,展览过后他全身而退不再以艺术家的身份出现。这也是展览被称为“全部”的原因之一。
Guggenheim New York In November last year, a personal retrospective for Italian artist Maurizio Cattelan “All” once again pushed the art-goer wave into the spotlight. Cattlelan publicly declared before the exhibition that this personal retrospective will be the culmination of his artistic creation. After the exhibition, he will not emerge as an artist. This is one of the reasons the show is called “All”.
