2015年4月13日,新疆生产建设兵团第五师八十九团水电管理站的技术工人正在为棉田安装智能化滴灌输水主管道。该团于2013年启动自动化智能滴灌工程示范应用,实验成熟面积达到333 hm2(0.5万亩)。2015年该团继续扩大示范推广规模,出资700余万元在两个连队500 hm2(0.75万亩)棉田铺设地埋管道,配备泵房和计算机控制系统,实现棉田自动化智能灌溉技术。据了解,该团推广的自动化智能滴灌系统采用先进实用的无线数据采集监控技术及滴灌自动化技术,可根据示范区滴灌地块位置和棉田用户不同层
