从总体上说,美国华人任职警察的不多;美国警界中,华裔知名者更是寥寥无几。但李昌钰却除外。李昌钰是一位全球性的传奇人物。李昌钰的名气大得很,是美国一位家喻户晓的人物。他以精湛独到的刑事侦查与鉴定技术享誉国际,被称之为“当代福尔摩斯”、“物证鉴定大师”、“科学神探”、“现场重建之王”与“犯罪克星”。李昌钰还担任了美国州级警界最高首长,为华人赢得了无限的荣誉。作为国际著名的刑事鉴定技术专家,李昌钰曾在全球17个国家和地区参与调查6000多起重大案件,他侦办的许多刑事案件都成为国际法庭科学界与警界的教学范例。
Generally speaking, there are not many American Chinese serving as police officers. Among the U.S. police circles, there are only a few famous Chinese-Americans. But Lee Chang-woo is excepted. Lee Chang-yu is a global legend. Lee Chang-yu’s reputation is very large, is a household name in the United States. He is known internationally for his excellent and unique criminal investigation and appraisal techniques. He is called “Contemporary Holmes”, “Master of Physical Evidence Identification”, “Science Explorer”, “King of Scene Reconstruction” and “Crime Buster.” Lee Chang-yu also served as the top US state-level police chief, won the Chinese people an unlimited honor. As an internationally renowned expert in criminal appraisal, Li Changyu has participated in the investigation of over 6,000 major cases in 17 countries and regions and many of the criminal cases he has investigated serve as examples for the teaching of science and police in the International Tribunal.
