西德鲁尔煤炭公司瓦尔朱姆煤矿维尔德立井,井深1060米,净径6米,井筒穿过第四纪和第三纪地层的厚度约为300米,而在深度600米范围以内均为含水不稳定地层,故确定采用冻结法施工,冻结孔深度为581米。维尔德井已于1981年4月开始掘凿,目前(1981,6.12)已掘凿了76米。由于该井施工具有一定的困难,但其又将为今后的深井冻结工程提供经验,故该工程项目得到联邦政府的资助。为此在设计、科研和现场施工人员密切合作下,进行了下述重点研究项目,即:冻结壁—外井壁共同承载系统的选择;新的冻结工艺;对冻结壁状况进行长时监测;冻结井段的掘凿和外井壁的砌筑方法;冻结
