2002年5月,美国公民教育中心与中国教育部课程教材发展中心签署了一项公民社会实践活动项目合作协议。海门市的所有小学都加入到了这一项目的行动中。为了探索区域新公民教育的行动方略,市教研室申报了江苏省第七期教学研究重点课题《区域推进新公民教育行动的实践研究》并获准立项。此后,研究团队在全面调研的基础上,制定了《海门市新公民教育行动指导纲要》,确定的行动目标是全面提升本市小学生的公民基
In May 2002, the U.S. Civic Education Center signed a cooperation agreement with the Curriculum Materials Development Center of the Ministry of Education of China on a project of civil society practice. All primary schools in Haimen joined the action of this project. In order to explore the action plan of new civic education in the region, the Municipal Teaching and Research Office declared the key research topic of the seventh teaching and research project of Jiangsu Province “Practical Research on Promoting New Civic Education in the Region” and was approved for the project.
