本研究以重庆市7区17县24名小学英语教研员为调查对象,从教师数量、学历和职称三个方面调查了重庆市城乡小学英语师资的基本情况。调查发现,重庆市城乡小学英语教师总体数量不足,兼职英语教师过多;小学英语教师学历层次较低,专业构成不合理;小学英语教师的职称偏低。本文还对实现城乡小学英语师资的均衡发展提出了一些合理化建议。
In this study, 24 primary school English teaching and research staff in 17 counties in 7 districts of Chongqing were investigated. The basic situation of English teachers in urban and rural primary schools in Chongqing was investigated from three aspects: the number of teachers, academic qualifications and professional titles. The survey found that the overall number of English teachers in primary and secondary schools in urban and rural areas in Chongqing is not enough, and the number of part-time English teachers is too much. The level of academic qualifications of primary English teachers is lower and their professional composition is not reasonable. The title of primary English teachers is low. This article also put forward some reasonable suggestions to realize the balanced development of English teachers in urban and rural primary schools.
