“为农业经济振兴铺路,为农村文化开发架桥”,这是江苏图书发行系统为农服务的一个响亮口号。几年来,图书市场虽因书价上涨、成本增加、市场失控等原因,几度出现图书销售滑坡、疲软的低潮,但江苏发行系统的干部职工始终坚持把为农服务摆在重要的位置上。他们在实践中,寻求开发农村图书市场的对策并取得了显著的成效。——1990年,全省农村图书销售总额达到22338万元,较1985年的9122万元增长
