By the Chinese Institute of Measurement ionizing radiation Professional Committee, the Chinese Society of Nuclear and Nuclear Detection Technology Institute co-sponsored the “second session of the national γ-ray measurement technology academic exchange” in April 1993 April 20 to 25 in Guilin, Guangxi Hold. A total of 80 delegates attended the conference, from 52 units nationwide. A total of 57 papers were received at the conference and 32 were reported by the conference. At the subcommittee, the delegates discussed the issues related to the measurement of γ spectrometer and the summary of the measurement and comparison of germanium γ spectra of environmental radioactive samples.
