新课程改革对中学英语教学提出了新的要求。我们要注重对学生英语语言运用能力的培养,加强听说能力的训练。但目前很多城乡中学及老师还是只注重英语语法讲解与练习而不注重听说训练,英语教学长期处于被动局面,成绩一直不理想。所以,目前的境况促使我们要大胆改革教学方式,形成一定的教学模式,才能提高学生的英语成绩。
The new curriculum reform put forward new requirements for English teaching in middle school. We should pay attention to the cultivation of students’ ability to use English language and strengthen the ability of listening and speaking. However, at present, many urban and rural secondary schools and teachers still only pay attention to English grammar explanations and exercises without paying attention to listening and speaking. English teaching has long been in a passive situation and the results have been unsatisfactory. Therefore, the current situation prompts us to boldly reform the teaching methods and form a certain teaching mode in order to improve students’ English scores.
