近年来,特别是公共图书馆把“为犯人送书服务”作为“经验”来推广,洪波同志对此提出了不同意见,认为“为犯人送书”违背了图书馆服务工作的根本宗旨,大可不必.我刊本着“百花齐放,百家争鸣”的原则和“文责自负“的精神刊发此文,以期进一步引起同行们共同探讨新形势下图书馆服务工作根本宗旨问题的兴趣,希望有更多的同志对此发表意见,求同存异,趋向共识,推动今后图书馆工作新局面的创建与确立。
