一人写信,言重词复,琐琐不休.友人劝之曰:“问吾几笔墨却佳,惟有繁言赘语宜去,以后信,言简而赅可也.”其人唯唯遵命.后又致信此友日:“前承雅教,感佩良深,从此万不敢再用繁言上读清听.”另于“万”字旁注曰:“此万字乃方字无点之万字,是简笔之万字也.本欲恭书草头大写之万字,因匆匆未及大写草头之万字.草草不恭,尚祈恕罪.”
