On the basis of the theories of psycholinguistic perspective in language teaching and communicative approach in language learning,the author of this paper analysed briefly some tangible errors for the Chinese students in their reading comprehension in line with his own teaching experiences. The aim of the paper is to overcome the obstacles existing between the author’ s text writers and the text readers and to enable the latter to become effective readers.
