导轨不直度是指导轨的实际线在长度方向上的形状误差。在检查与调整时可以从给定的平面——垂直面或水平面内进行测量。测量方法有线差法即用刀口直尺、标准光隙及钢丝显微镜等直接读出误差值;角差法即用水平仪、光学平直仪(准直仪)等仪器进行相对测量。由于角差法测量合理,读数精度高而得到广泛应用。这里所讨论的也仅是角差法测量中对误差数值处理的一些看法。
Rail straightness refers to the actual shape of the rail in the length direction of the shape error.
