国际科学界预见,生物学将成为下一世纪带头学科,生物技术将导致一次新的农业革命。我国“七五”计划已将生物技术列为重点项目之一。生物技术又是一种发展迅速的新技术。我们调查了解到,广大会员急需学习这方面的新知识、新技术。同时生物技术又与遗传育种、大田作物、果树蔬菜、畜牧、植保、农业微生物、原子能利用等多种学科有关。
The international scientific community foresees that biology will take the lead in the next century and that biotechnology will lead to a new agricultural revolution. China’s “Seventh Five-Year Plan” has listed biotechnology as one of the key projects. Biotechnology is another rapid development of new technologies. Our investigation revealed that most members urgently needed to learn new knowledge and new technologies in this area. At the same time, biotechnology is also related to many disciplines such as genetic breeding, field crops, fruit trees and vegetables, livestock husbandry, plant protection, agricultural microorganisms and atomic energy utilization.
