合作开发国外森林资源是缓解我国木材紧张状况的途径之一。改革开放以来,我国在森林资源丰富而又有合作开发强烈愿望的国家中,积极寻找合作伙伴。在国外办林业合营企业,我们没有经验。国内许多投资者,由于未深入研究国外投资环境,至今成效甚微。现仅以合作开发巴布亚新几内亚(简称巴新)森林资源为例,谈谈如何研究和把握投资环境,促进合作开发。
Cooperation and development of foreign forest resources is one of the ways to ease the tension of timber in our country. Since the reform and opening up, China has actively sought for partners in countries rich in forest resources and having a strong desire to cooperate and develop. We do not have experience in running forestry joint ventures abroad. Many domestic investors, due to not studying in depth foreign investment environment, have achieved little success so far. Now, we will take the cooperation in the development of forest resources in Papua New Guinea (PNG) as an example to discuss how to study and grasp the investment environment and promote cooperative development.
