Autonomous learning is relative to passive learning, which refers to students’ high-quality learning under the condition of classroom teaching. In traditional teaching, English teaching forms a teaching activity model that imparts knowledge to students. Students are in a passive position and lack the foundation of existing knowledge and skills.
