美国总统布什奉劝青少年:“少看电视,多从事户外运动。”他认为,现代青少年都太懒,待在电视机前的时间太长,而从运动的时间则太少。他说,青少年应多运动,以锻炼来促进身体的健康。“运动可以帮助你去迎接成功及面对困境”是他对青少年的忠告。布什出生在有钱人家,自幼家中就鼓励他运动。大学时期,他曾是棒球校队的队员。在他任职美驻中国官员时经常骑自行车漫游之事,人们至今仍记忆犹新。当选总(?)之余,他仍经常从事慢跑、打网球及钓鱼等户外体育活动。他说:“慢跑或有(?)更可以带来兴奋与快乐。我很庆幸(在大学(?)我松弛与 Bush advises young people to “spend less on television and do more outdoor sports.” In his opinion, modern teenagers are too lazy to stay in front of the television for too long and too little time for exercise.
