The recent issue of IT Times contains Lang’s article, arguing that high savings rates are associated with financial chaos. Lang Xianping said that in China, if you do not buy a house, there is only one place for money to go. That is the financial markets - including banking, securities and insurance. In China, 90% of households choose to save money in the bank, which means that saving is the main means of financial management for ordinary people. From a monetary perspective, about 76% of household assets are used for saving; about 20% is for investing in stocks and funds; and about 4% is for other investments such as insurance. Such a home
