企业信息化是指以信息技术统筹管理企业生产营销所有信息,以开发和利用信息资源,提高管理水平、研发能力、经营水平。企业信息化以成为企业核心竞争力的关键,以信息化应对经济全球化挑战,是所有企业面临的重要抉择。以信息化促进企业技术创新技术创新是企业赢得竞争、快速发展的基本战略,是培育企业的“核心能力”、增强企业长期竞争优势的关键。随着经济全球化和信息化的发展,技术创新的速度加快,企业竞争行为更偏向于长期优势,而支撑这种长期竞争优势的基础则是企业的核心能力。核心能力是企业独占的、其他厂商难以模拟的竞争优势。早在20年前,世界500强企业就启动了信息化工程。
