This paper discusses the working principle of the large-aperture laser transient F-P interferometer that shows the flow field and uses it to take a high-speed photography of the rocket engine gas jet to obtain a clear fluid chromatogram of the near-field structure of the rocket engine real gas jet. The Mach-plate position, oblique shock and boundary values of gas jet near-field structure are obtained from the interferogram, and compared with the theoretical value, experimental data are provided for the design of the rocket engine and launcher.
