WTO候任总干事素帕猜10月28日在广州白天鹅宾馆作了题为《中国与WTO》的演讲。他透露了中国入世的七项承诺: 一是降低农业贸易壁垒。放开农产品市场准入,农业税将从平均31%降到15%至17%。 二是承诺政府退出对经济的不必要干预。中国加入WTO后,IT业就要加入《信息技术产品协议》,按此协议,最迟不超过2004,涉及IT产品的关税率将为零。 三是5年后服务业实现自由化。中国承诺届时允许有50%的外资股权
The WTO’s Director-designate Supachai made a speech entitled “China and WTO” at the White Swan Hotel in Guangzhou on October 28. He disclosed China’s seven commitments to the WTO: First, to reduce agricultural trade barriers.
