我场始建于一九五八年。在毛主席革命路线的指引下,在各级党政领导的亲切关怀和全场职工的努力下,经过十七年的经营垦殖使这个“十里茅山鹰咀石”的不毛之地,成为一个茶成行树成荫,机器制茶轰隆隆的国营茶场。现有茶园1150亩,其中采摘茶园670亩,从一九七○年以来,总产超千担,连续六年单产在150斤以上,并逐年提高,今年产茶2009.6担。比去年增产15.4%,单产为300斤左右。全场单产600斤以上的36.2亩,400斤以上的113亩,300斤上下的521亩。
