2014年是新一轮国企改革年,广东基础积极主动把握住改制机遇,先是凭借雄厚实力被列为广东建工集团9个改制公司之一,后又被列入广东省体制机制改革创新试点50家企业之一。在广东建工集团的大力支持与指导下,广东基础于12月9日正式通过广东省工商行政管理局核准,升级更名为“广东省基础工程集团有限公司”。
