向明中学自上世纪八十年代初就开展创造教育实验活动,组成学校创造教育课题组,成立创造教育实验班,开始了早期的创造教育实践和探索过程。大致经历了初创探索、调整巩固和深化发展三个时期。进入20世纪90年代。知识经济在中国的飞速发展给创造教育的飞跃式发展提供了契机。我校于1999年正式确立了《高中创造教育课程框架体系的构建与实施》的课题研究。
