In 2017, the “Betrayer” of Israel’s famous Hebrew novelist Amos Ozzy and David Grossman’s “A Horse into the Bar” were both short-listed in the International Manukauer Prize. Eventually, “A horse into the bar” off the “betrayer” unsuccessful. Overall, both works are excellent and full of insight. “A Horse Goes Into Bar,” focusing on stylistic experiments, focuses on unconventional Israeli realities through a talk show comedian chattering endlessly within two hours of the stage while “betrayals” reflect Israel’s reality in memory of the past Issue, by referring to Judah, the predecessor of the New Testament, and the re-writing of a certain Zionist leader prior to the founding of Israel, the issue of what is meant by “betrayer” in contemporary Israeli context.
