可能因为人们知道我是写书的,所以当他们遇到我的时候,出于礼节或善意,就与我谈论起书来。而我由于缺乏应有的礼节与善意,时常发现自己很难履行职责,去对一些“友善”的问题做出适当的回应。很多人以为,只要读过一本书,就可以谈论这本书。而事实上,虽然我认识的多数人都会去阅读书籍,但真正能够谈论它们的只是少数人。书籍、美术、音乐、风景以及人和事等等,这些都是很难去定义评价的,因为它们并非是有形且非常明确的东西,在很大程度上其价值来自于读者、观者、听者,以及研究者心中的衡量。一本书必须触动灵魂的某根弦,才能产生真正的动力或能量。至少,阅读的时候要持批判性的目光,
Maybe because people know I’m writing a book, so when they meet me, out of etiquette or goodwill, talk to me about writing. However, due to the lack of proper courtesy and goodwill, I often find it hard to fulfill my duties and to respond appropriately to some “friendly” issues. Many people think that if you read a book, you can talk about it. In fact, while most people I know read books, there are really just a few people who can talk about them. Books, fine arts, music, landscapes and people and things that are hard to define, because they are not tangible and very explicit things and are largely valued by readers, viewers, listeners As well as the measurement of researchers. A book must touch one of the strings of the soul to produce real power or energy. At least, when reading to hold a critical eye,
