In the Lin Piao and Confucius Movement, the cadres of the PLA People’s Liberation Army’s 1618 troops together with the poor and middle-aged farmers of the Xihongmiao Brigade of the Kongjiazhuang Community in Wanquan County, Hebei Province, criticized the reactionary slang related to health care. They linked these reactionary proverbs with the reactionary ideas of Confucius and Mencius, and pointed out that the reactionary proverbs originated from the Confucianism. In the critique, they contacted the actual situation and criticized the reactionary proverb with the results of the victory of the proletarian cultural revolution in health care.
