The largest dishwasher company in the country, Little Swan Melloni Dishwasher Co., Ltd., has established and started construction in Wuxi, Jiangsu. After the plant was completed and put into operation last November, it will produce 10,000 dishwashers for the domestic market. Dishwasher is expected to become another main product for the “Little Swan” to lead the market consumption. In developed countries, dishwashers are one of the household appliances that are indispensable in the home and are not yet known to consumers in China. The survey shows that the current 100 households in China’s top ten cities have less than 0.34% of their dishwashers, and they will reach 2000 by the year 2000.
