存在主义思潮曾引起了文学界的轰动,尤其是对当代美国犹太文学。本文试图从存在主义角度来对犹太文学进行阐述,并选取了几个著名的犹太文学作家举例说明存在主义思潮对犹太文学的影响。犹太文学作家把存在主义哲学蕴含在文学作品中,以此来揭示当时人们精神上的困境与向往,并从更高层次上洞察和了解当代美国社会乃至西方社会的精神困境,反映当代人们处于一种装满“存在”危机的世界之中。
The existentialism has aroused the literary world sensation, especially for contemporary American Jewish literature. This article attempts to expatiate on Jewish literature from the existentialist perspective, and selects several famous Jewish writers as examples to illustrate the influence of existentialism on Jewish literature. Jewish literary writers embody existentialist philosophy in literary works in order to reveal the people’s spiritual predicament and longing, and from a higher level of insight and understanding of the contemporary American society and Western society, the spirit of the dilemma reflects the contemporary people in a Filled with “existence ” crisis in the world.
