图书馆作为图书文献的收集、整理、流通、阅读中心,在历朝历代的文化主流发展中,都具有其独特的产生背景、历史渊源、代表人物以及重要的社会功能和文化功能。中国图书馆文化就是一部丰厚的历史发展文化。该文续上篇《古代藏书楼文化的形成、发展、繁荣》对“近代图书馆文化的形成与发展”过程,从近代西方理念输入、图书馆文化形成、发展、到现代图书馆崛起作了系统论述。
