对铁矿中共生的低品位难选钨,先通过钢铁冶金与铁分离,并初步富集,有利于钨的回收。对含钨生铁氧化吹炼的研究认识到:碱性造渣剂在改善钨对铁的选择氧化上有重要作用。随碱性增强,钨氧化脱出变得容易;铁中各元素,硅均首先氧化,当由FeO造渣时,钨先于磷氧化,当由CaO、Na_2CO_3造渣时钨略后于磷氧化;强化熔池搅拌有利铁中钨氧化脱出对氧气顶吹转炉,通过降低生铁硅素等措施,渣中WO_3可以随渣量降低而在渣中富集。
